7/27/2024: Assualt on Literacy: Summer Day of Reading (12:30pm - 3:30pm) | Library Park @ The Plainfield Public Library (800 Park Ave, Plainfield, NJ)
Children who do not read over the summer lose at least two months of reading development. CIRCLE Learning Group is partnering with the Omicron Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity for a pf reading in the park. Free books, giveaways, and ice-cream for the first 50 children (ages 13 and under). There will also be hands-on STEAM activities and demonstration by the Plainfield Fire Department. Registration and participation are free for all, please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
